Strongbow Exploration Inc. is exploring for gold within the Carolina slate belt of the southeastern United States and working to define a new belt of nickel-copper-cobalt sulphide deposits in central Canada.
Strongbow's exploration work in the Carolinas is focused on exploring for gold within the same rocks that host mineralization at the past producing Ridgeway, Haile and Brewer gold mines in South Carolina. The Midway project consists of a number of strategic exploration properties located within the Haile-Brewer gold trend and the Ridgeway project consists of properties located immediately along strike from the past producing Ridgeway gold mine.
Strongbow has outlined a large bulk tonnage nickel copper sulphide deposit at Nickel King, NT (Download Nickel King NI 43-101 Technical Report). Nickel King is part of the Company's Snowbird nickel project where it has discovered at least fifteen additional nickel-copper showings near Nickel King and further to the south in Saskatchewan (Download Snowbird NI 43-101 Technical Report). Nickel sulphide deposits tend to occur in clusters or groups, and Strongbow believes the same could be the case for the Snowbird/Nickel King area.
Strongbow is also evaluating a number of gold and copper-gold exploration properties in British Columbia, including the Shovelnose, Inza and Chilcotin properties. |
