The LDG Property is located in the Lac de Gras area of the Northwest Territories, approximately 12 km and 30 km south of the Diavik and Ekati diamond mines, respectively. The property consists of one large contiguous claim block covering 49,850 hectares in 51 mineral claims that were acquired in late 1999 and early 2000. Exploration conducted on the property to date has consisted of an 8,444 line kilometre (75m line spaced) helicopter borne electromagnetic/magnetic geophysical survey, the collection of approximately 1,500 till samples, 59 ground geophysical surveys, and drill testing 11 targets.

During the Spring of 2006, Stornoway Diamond Corp. completed a limited drilling program, testing six lake based targets on the LDG property. Kimberlite was not intersected. A limited amount of till sampling was also completed, with results currently pending. Although no kimberlites have been discovered on the property to date, kimberlites are located within 5 km to the east, south, west, northwest and northeast of the property.

Stornoway maintains an option to earn up to 60% interest in the LDG property. The LDG exploration programs are being conducted under the supervision of Robin Hopkins, P.Geol.(NU/NT), a qualified person under NI 43-101.
