The Goldpan and PIMA properties are located within the emerging Spences Bridge gold belt in southwestern British Columbia. The two contiguous properties cover an aggregate area of approximately 11,400 ha and are located within three kilometres of the eastern boundary of Strongbow's Skoonka Creek property, where a recent drilling program has returned a highlight assay of 20.2 g/t gold over 12.8 metres from a low sulphidation epithermal vein system.
Limited initial stream silt sampling programs have returned anomalous multielement geochemical anomalies from drainages on both the Goldpan and PIMA properties. The tenor of these anomalies is equal to or greater than anomalous stream samples that originally drew attention to the Skoonka Creek area. Both properties are well located with respect to good transportation and power infrastructure, with the western boundary of the Goldpan property located adjacent to the Trans Canada Highway.
Exploration in 2006 was operated by Tanqueray Resources Ltd. as part of an option agreement. In December of 2006, Tanqueray returned the properties to Strongbow.
